How Two Printers Overcame Color Drift and Short-Run Bottlenecks

When a European folding carton converter and a North American gift bag printer both hit the same wall, they didn't compare notes. One was drowning in color drift on corporate brochure printing jobs. The Ohio converter saw throughput rise about 18% on short-run bag work. Waste held at 6–8% on standard jobs. Those jobs still eat margin, but they no longer sink the week.

The bigger lesson is not about a single press or ink. It is about matching the job to the process, then measuring what actually matters.
